SCIENCE AND HUMANITIES

Science and Humanities

The section of Science and Humanities was established in the year 2005 which consists of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English disciplines. This helps the young engineers to build a deep understanding of Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry and Communication Skills into the curriculum has the potential to greatly strengthen engineering education.

English

English Language plays a pivotal role in producing Engineers equipped with English language skills and soft skills which will help them to emerge successful in today's competitive world. The discipline is active in all the directions to fulfil the requirements of the stakeholders in terms of Communication Skills and Personality Development. The discipline of English includes language laboratory in which students articulating their experiences, thoughts, and passion.

Mathematics

Mathematics is to provide a supportive environment where students can learn and become experts in mathematics, through dedicated teaching and motivation. Moreover, the discipline will contribute to the development of students as mathematical thinkers. We provide beginners with bridge courses to become acquainted with the preliminaries of mathematics and the techniques to use and train them in the rigor and precision characteristic of mathematical reasoning. We prescribe papers that help to acquire the mathematical knowledge and the reasoning skills necessary to make effective use of mathematics.

Physics

The Engineering Physics will develop sufficient depth in both engineering and physics skills to produce engineers who can relate fundamental physics to practical engineering problems. A team well experienced, highly motivated faculty with proven excellence in teaching and research carrying forward the motto of the institution. The discipline aims to disseminate knowledge and skills based understanding of the concepts of science especially in areas relevant to Engineering and Technology.

Chemistry

The study of Chemistry plays a vital role in Engineering discipline to render services to the student community to meet the growing global challenges. Sound infrastructure facilities like fully fledged laboratory, well established Library, highly qualified dedicated faculty and technical supporting staff are the highlights of the discipline strength.
